I bought this bag of carrots from Lidl. On getting them home I spotted the bag had “Honest British produce” printed on it.
Hang on, what on earth does that mean?
How can a carrot be honest? Have you ever come across a dishonest carrot?
Criminal vegetables
I started wondering what would crooked vegetables get up to? Would the carrot steal peas from your plate? Maybe the potatoes might gang up and start a protection racket? Or perhaps the onion deals in black market garlic?
