The Adventures of HS2-The Great Train Robbery (Narrated by John Bishop)

The HS2 project to provide a new faster ‘high speed‘ rail link between London and the north of England has caused much debate. Those for argue it will bring great economic benefits, those against that it is an expensive, disruptive white elephant.

The HS2 Action Alliance fall into the ‘No to HS2‘ camp. They were founded in 2010 to oppose the Government’s proposals for a new high speed rail line.

The HS2 Action Alliance have come up with a video to get across some of their argument called ‘The Adventures of HS2-The Great Train Robbery‘. Made as a parody of the Thomas the Tank Engine animated children’s TV show they have got Liverpudlian comic John Bishop to provide the narration.
